The London Luton airport is located 1.7 miles (2.8 km) east of the town center, in Bedfordshire, England, and is the fourth largest airport serving the London area. One of six international airports near London, the Luton is the fifth busiest airport in the United Kingdom, handling over 9.6 million passengers annually.
